When Family and Friends Do Not Take Your Home Business Seriously
If you are working from home, then you know that trading in the cubicle or closet sized office space for your spare bedroom or garage is a blessing. No lengthy commute, bad coffee, endless meetings to attend, and snotty coworkers whose ineffectual work ethic and incompetence have been the bane of your corporate existence; furthermore, no longer are you at the beck and call of a boss who seems to have great ideas and rush deadlines 15 minutes before quitting time.
Yet even though you are happy and making a decent living with your home based business, you have found that the one fly in the ointment is the reaction of your friends and even family who at times do not take your business serious, or may actually deride it in some way.
How often do you have to field phone calls from friends or family members who need a last minute babysitter during the week, essentially communicating to you that while they are off earning a living, you are at home, living a life of leisure. How often has your spouse asked you to take Fluffy to the vet, pick up the dry cleaning, and take junior to volleyball practice while she or he is attending a seminar and has a tee time scheduled with the boss immediately afterwards?
Does your best girlfriend pick your crunch times to call you for relationship advice and to cry on your shoulder when Mr. Wonderful turned out not to be so wonderful after all?

While this scenario is a tough one, remember that the parent or friend, is intruding on you, not on any of her or his otherwise employed friends or family members.
By way of making a concession, offer to take your lunch early, like in the next 30 minutes, to enable the parent to use your home phone to set up other babysitting arrangements while you entertain junior. Inform your friend that once the 30 minutes are up, you will once again need to work and thus will not be able to spend any more time with the child. This usually gets the message across.
Remember that your business will only be taken as serious as you will take it!
If you really believe in your business and in yourself to be able to build and run your home business successfully, then family members and friends must be made aware that this is your life and your business and that they need to respect you for what you are doing. Especially when it comes to building or running an online business from home. Most people still feel that you need to go out and work a JOB in order to be successful.

How do you create your own viral marketing Ebook?
Here are the steps.
1) Come up with a product idea based on your affiliate program you've already chosen and are already promoting.
Coming up with ideas isn't hard. For example, and I know I use this example a lot, BUT, If you are going to be promoting a sports betting affiliate program, why not create a book on becoming a successful punter. Then throughout the book, you can recommend your favorite sports betting affiliate program.

A good way to come up with ideas is to look at what others are already selling and mimic that. You don't need to recreate the wheel here, so PLEASE don't make things harder then they have to be.
2) Get the tools you need to succeed
You are going to need a few tools here.
A) A domain name
I register all my domain names with GDI for $10.00 a month for each domain name, which to me is pretty darn cheap.
B) Webhosting/Website Building
Let me say first, you get what you pay for. This has never been more true then with webhosting. YOU NEED a good reliable webhosting company with 24/7 technical support. If your site goes down and you can't contact anyone to help you get it back up, you will lose sales and a lot of them.
I recommend you use GDI for the simple fact they offer all you need, plus a lot more for a reasonable price.
C) Autoresponder
You will need this so you can contact your prospects that don't purchase straight away. This is where you will give away your free course or someway to entice them to give you their email address so you can contact them periodically.

D) Credit card processor
Just use ClickBank. This step is too easy. They will let you accept all major credit cards and start an affiliate program for a one time setup fee of under $50. They do take a percentage of every sale, but this is so much cheaper then getting your own merchant account.

E) Ebook Software
You will more then likely want to create your book in PDF format so everyone can read it. Some Ebooks come in EXE format, but mac users can't read that format, so I find it best to use PDF. You can create your e-book with http://www.web2pdfconvert.com/.

3) Outline your book chapters into articles
Writing a whole book in one sitting is hard, and trying to write a book without outlining the chapters is nearly impossible. My first book I ever wrote took me over 6 months but now most of my books take me less then a week to finish and that is with a sales letter and website up.
All you have to do is think up 12 to 15 article topics in sequence and write about them. Each page should be around 700 to 1000 words, full of useful information, not information people could get for free.
4) Write your content
Like I said just before, you need original content. There are too many books out there now where people are just regurgitating information others can get for free and this lowers the value of your book, which means less people will pass it around and even less will read it.

The best way to get a good amount of original information without writing it yourself is to interview experts in the field. For instance, if you were writing a book about improving your golf handicap, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find some local experts who you could grill in person, over the phone or even via the Internet and you can then put all that information in the book. It's also a good selling point.
Also remember when your writing what the point of this book is. The point of the book is to earn you an on going commission with affiliate programs, so don't feel like you can't throw some affiliate links in, because you can, but make sure it's tactful and in place.
Another good idea would be to put a "Subscribe to my newsletter" section in your book as well, so not only will you make commissions on sales, but also generate leads without doing any extra work.
Make sure you clearly state in the front of the book, that the buyer can sell this book as his own. State that he has Resell Rights to the product and can sell it or give it away if he chooses.
5) Create your sales letter
This is where you will be selling your book from and is critically crucial to your success.

How To Use Free Traffic Exchanges
To Promote Your Business
Many people do not know the value of traffic exchanges.. or they underestimate them just because they are a free traffic source. I will now teach you about this free marketing strategy used by many to generate many leads each day, and signups daily, into their programs!
A traffic exchange is basically a site that exchanges traffic... for viewing other peoples sites enables you to earn credits so others view your site! You will not get traffic to your site unless you earn credits by surfing OR you buy credits from the traffic exchange.
How To Effectively Use A Traffic Exchange.
Follow the instructions below:
1.) Download Mozilla Firefox at http://www.firefox.com - This is definitely the easiest, best multi window browser. No matter what your computer or connection speed is firefox will multiply your credits per hour. IT'S FREE. This browser has tabs at the top which you can click to easily move from window to window. It also has the ability to save urls in a group, which is important for ease of use.
2.) Go to the top of your firefox browser under bookmarks and then "manage bookmarks". Create a folder named Traffic Exchanges.
3.) Bookmark all the SURF URLs or websites for the exchanges into the folder by going to each url and clicking Bookmarks > Bookmark this page. Now when you click to open that group/folder, it will open all the pages for you, so you don't have to redo it every time. (Just go to the folder and choose "open in tabs")
4.) Log-in to the traffic exchanges and add your website to their system. Go the the WEBSITE Tab to add your sites.
5.) After you added your site to the traffic exchanges, open all pages and start surfing. Simply go through all the tabs clicking for the manual exchanges, and once you get back to the beginning you should be able to start all over again without waiting. This way you aren't waiting 30 seconds or more in order to click "next'. You are using several exchanges and generating lots of credits at the same time!
6.) After you finish surfing, log-in to each account and make sure to assign available credits to your site. You can do this using the ASSIGN CREDITS Tab.

I suggest making sure you click 20 to 60 minutes each day with these exchanges for best results.

I grew up in New Jersey, moved to Florida in 2001 and then moved to New Hampshire in 2007, where I currently live with my fiancee, Nancy.
I own 2 online businesses, and I assist my fiancee, Nancy with running her online business. Our businesses will assist you in further promoting and building your online business.
I have two sons who still live in New Jersey about 6 hours away and I visit them and my wonderful grandchildren once a month. I have one grandson and 3 granddaughters who are doing very well in school and are a pleasure to spend time with.
I also sponsor a child through the Christian Childrens Fund. My sponsored child (a girl), lives in India and she belongs to a family who is from a small village. Her father has a very small income and can barely make ends meet, but through my monthly donations to her, she is receiving some excellent schooling and making very good grades and is able to receive the proper medical care when needed.
I receive quarterly updates on her progress and I'm proud of how well she is doing.
Both of my sons are doing well in their careers, and they are both members of the US Army Reserves. They have both served a year in Iraq and they both returned home safely.
My younger son John David, served with the 52nd Engineer Company and he was involved in helping to re-build a childrens orphanage and the Air Assault Towers at some of the Base Camps for the troops that are now stationed in Iraq. During his tour, the biggest problem he had were snipers taking shots at him and his comrades. I don't have any photos or videos from him yet.
The following is a small video my older son Jayson made of his tour in Iraq. He was a Heavy Machine Gunner and he manned the 50 caliber machine gun. He provided security to convoys going in and out of Bagdad, Iraq and Kuwait, along with other duties. Press the play button in the center to start the video.
It's because of these brave men and woman that we should all be Proud and Supportive of our Men and Woman in the Armed Forces.
